ECMM Continuing to Provide Limited Service

ECMM is committed to continuing to provide service to our clients while ensuring that we are operating in such a way that maintains safety for your employees and our staff. We have made some changes to the way we operate in order to observe the requirements outlined by Public Health. This means that you can expect to receive the same quality of service you have come to expect from us, but it may look a little different. 

Here are some of the differences you may have noticed over the past several weeks: 

- Pre-Screening Questions: We have been asking pre screening questions at the time of scheduling, which allows us to properly maintain a level of safety at our collection sites. In addition, each person arriving at one of our locations will be asked a series of pre screening questions prior to proceeding with the appointment. 

- PPE. We have adopted a personal protective equipment policy and provided our collectors with the supplies to ensure safety for both them and the people entering our facilities. Collectors are to wear a mask, eye protection and gloves for the duration of the appointment. 

- Head Office Team. As best as possible, our head office is heeding the advice to 'Stay the Blazes Home'. This may change the way you are used to communicating with us. The best way to reach us with an appointment request is via email bookings@ecmm.ca , any other inquires may be submitted to info@ecmm.ca. For urgent situations that require immediate attention by one of our staff members, please call (800) 294-2971 and your call will be connected to our emergency answering service. 

- Appointment Availability. We have a large network of collection sites in order to provide you service in convenient locations. This network includes third parties and contractors, some of whom have closed during this pandemic. Others have limited the services they are providing and/or the hours or days they are operating. For this reason, although we will work diligently to accommodate your appointment request on the date and at the location requested, it is possible that it may not be available. In that situation we will provide the best alternative available.

 

As we have all come to understand over the last month or so, things can change very quickly. We will continue to send updated communication as the situation develops.
